Step 10: Writing the Final Copy

TITLE PAGE

The first page of you essay will be the title page. This page is

not numbered. In the center of the page you will type the title of

your research project. Centered in the lower half of the page type

your name. Directly under your name type the name of the course.

The next line contains the name of the school. The last line is the

due date of the project.

OUTLINE

This is a brief sentence outline. The title of the page-

OUTLINE- Is centered at the top of the page. After the title, skip

two lines and type the thesis sentence (EGS).Skip two lines, and

using the correct outline format, briefly summarize your essay.

Roman Numerals I, II, and III will be the same sentences which you

wrote for your phrase outline. Capital letters A, B, and C

will be

general sentences about the information included in those parts of

your essay. The outline page is numbered with a lower case Roman

Numeral (i) which appears at the bottom of the page. Should you

have a second or third outline page, they too are numbered with

lower case Roman Numerals, but these appear in the upper right

hand corner.
