Oswegatchie Camp 2001

This year 19 students from Cazenovia H.S. attended Oswegatchie's Outdoor Education program. The students left the high school Sunday May 6th @ 7:30 a.m. and arrived at camp around 11:00 a.m. After orientation, students were given the opportunity to climb a 40 ft. simulated rock wall. Below is Peter Green repelling down after triumphantly climbing to the top.

Once everyone had the opportunity to climb the wall, the students moved on to the zip-line. Caitlin Williams had a real scream on the zip-line.

Once all the hard work was over, everyone took a leisurely canoe ride down stream to Long Pond.

It took a few minutes for Travis Eno and John Henneberg to get situated in their canoe while Tucker Roe and Jeremy Cook were on their way downstream.

The canoe trip included a short rest while Ben Frazee took a swim in the frigid water.

The evening ended peacefully.

Morning started with a nature hike to the falls where the groups picture was taken.

We returned back to the lodge by 11:00 a.m. to board the bus and return to Cazenovia.
