The office staff and transportation department would like to remind all parents that
we need to have in writing the names and addresses and phone numbers of day care
providers for after school care. A large majority of our children go somewhere besides
home after school on a daily basis or on certain days. The office does not carry this
information over from the previous year as day care providers often change.
This information is given to the new classroom teacher the week before school opens
after buses have been newly assigned, and the information is recorded in the office. Please
do not send your child back on the first day of school with a different place to go after
school unless the office has been notified in writing. This is very traumatic for the child
to find that we have assigned them to go home and they are to go to a day care provider.
We also ask that you do not have more than one day care provider.
We appreciate your cooperation in this very important matter. We need to know
where your child goes each and every day!
